Graduate Certificate in Child & Family Health Nursing

Tresillian has joined with The University of Technology Sydney to deliver the Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health Nursing. This allows the Course to have a strong clinical focus enhanced by a rigorous theoretical component.

The program has been designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to enter practice as a child and family health nurse and to work with families with children 0-5 years in the community.

The course is one year part time. Classes will be held at the centrally located city UTS campus.

Four subjects are offered via online learning and four face to face workshops.

  • Principles of child and family health nursing
  • Child and family health nursing 1
  • Child and family health nursing 2
  • Working with families

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be registered nurses with an Australian Bachelors degree in Nursing or an equivalent tertiary qualification. Registered nurses who do not have an undergraduate degree or diploma but who have recent relevant work experience may also be considered eligible.

The cost is set by the Board of Studies and therefore changes each year depending on demand.
