Water Safety

In Australia, the number one cause of accidental death in children under the age of five is drowning.

Keep watch and remember:

• Supervise your child near water – be within arms reach
• Fence pools and restrict access to lakes, rivers and dams
• Teach your child to swim as soon as possible
• Learn resuscitation techniques
